Academic Resources

During the school term, students and faculty will have access to a variety of resources to assist them in fulfilling their tasks. Click on a link below to view the resource's website.

  • A&AA Library

The UO Libraries' Architecture and Allied Arts (A&AA) Department consists of the A&AA Library proper, the Visual Resources Collection, and the Portland Architecture Library. The collections of the Architecture and Allied Arts Library primarily support academic programs associated with the School of Architecture and Allied Arts. In addition to the library's 80,000 bound volumes, holdings include architectural drawings, photographs, electronic resources, and theses and terminal project reports. The Library holds about 2,700 periodical titles including approximately 450 current subscriptions. Complementing the A&AA Library collection are more than 22,000 art & architecture volumes in the Knight Library.
  • Output Room

The School of Architecture and Allied Arts Output Room is dedicated to providing high-end output services to the University community at affordable prices. The Output Room is located in 280 Lawrence Hall. Phone: (541) 346-2081
  • Computing Labs

A&AA Computing Services staff maintain two computing labs that are open to all A&AA students.
  • Professional Connections (Board of Visitors)

Professional Connections is a searchable database that attempts to connect services and resources provided by members of the Board of Visitors and other advocates to the academic, research, and career interests of students, prospective students, and faculty members.
  • Visual Resource Collection

The Visual Resources Collection (VRC) of the Architecture and Allied Arts Library, organized in the 1940s to support the teaching needs of the art and architecture programs at the University of Oregon, serves programs and departments campus-wide.
