The Office of External Relations and Communications guides alumni relations and outreach activities for the school’s constituents in cooperation with the UO Alumni Association, departments, and programs.

The areas of responsibility include -

A&AA Bulletin and A&AA Review: Publication of school newsletters, A&AA Review and Bulletin to school donors, alumni, key constituents, and internal audiences. Issues are produced three times a year and distributed in December, March and July.
School Calendar of Events: Coordination of the school’s master calendar of events is offered by this office.
AAA Board of Visitors: The office coordinates the participation of external advisors to the school on behalf of the dean. The Board of Visitors mission is to support the advancement of the school, its students, and faculty members.
Alumni Events: Coordination with faculty members, A&AA Board of Visitors members, and alumni whom host alumni receptions at conferences and in cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Strategic Communications: In concert with the dean, the office targets selected research and teaching expertise in the school and will plan and implement specific marketing and communications to advance initiatives of the school.
Alumni Records and Lists: Updating of alumni records and requesting appropriate lists of alumni are provided by this office. Certain limitations may exist regarding uses of lists and confidentiality of records.
