Equipment Check Out

A computerized bar coding system is used to check out items to individuals who are entered into the computer database. When a person wishes to check out a piece of equipment, their name and contact information is placed in the computer database. You MUST bring your identification with you each time you check out an item.

Student check out items include: Hammers, screwdrivers, drills; lights, backdrop black cloths for photography; measuring instruments. The checkout time period limit is normally 4 hours.

GTF check out items include: slide projectors, overhead projectors, digital projectors, and laptops with department approval. The checkout time period limit is normally 4 hours.

Multi-Media students who are authorized by the Art Department may check out digital video cameras, digital still cameras, and microphones. The time limit for checkout of these items is 24 hours.

Faxes may be sent and received through the Ticket Office at the EMU and at the University Bookstore on 13th Street. Costs to send or receive a fax vary from $1.00 to $5.00 for the first page, and 50 cents for each additional page.

GTF's and Faculty may use the fax service at Faculty & Student Services. An index is required to send a fax. See your department or advisor.
